These aren’t in a particular order, also please try to use critical thinking of opportunity cost of when u can / cant fit one of these things in this also isnt a step by step upgrade list these are just things that can multiply ur damage and u need to learn/decide how and when to use these in your build if you want to use them

If you want more survivability you may hear me say “Just get more survival then” but what does that mean? To me that’s a no brainer but it’s good to explain here!

1. Swap points in your talent trees for energyshield

2. Equip a defensive skill on your hotbar, (defensive buffer(all elements + phys) / Frost shield (phys/fire) / Injury Buffer (hits)

3. Equip defensive passive skill (energy fortress, elemental resistance, steadfast)

4. Cap your resistances

5. You can go for block cap, iron wall kismet (60% ratio), Full defense talent (applies ratio to damage taken over time)

Some more defense stuff 

1. You dont need gale belt blend there’s other ways to get gale/acquaintance i.e. you can get blend u can get pedigree u can just use the trees u can use gale howling wind necklace vorax necklace etc Viewer: “Let's say we need 3 talent traits. Gale blend is 6k, and acquaintance blend is 2k, while acquaintance is a crucial node and its tree (arcanist) sucks. So you like pick 1 talent tree (whatever is better of the 3 of them), then put another talent as a blend (the cheapest one), and you pick remaining talent as a pedegree option (the cheapest one).”

2. You don’t need israfels wings of light setup are similar damage and a better early cheap option in parallel with polar night chest 

3. You don’t need lucky crit chance to “fix” unlucky crit chance
   As you gain more “base” crit lucky becomes less effective and unlucky becomes less negative
   If you had 50% chance to crit before unlucky you’d have 25% effective chance or with lucky its 75% effective chance
   

   

4. The green numbers on supports and items does NOT mean that it makes u do more damage 

5. Flat cold damage on ur weapon versus spell/elemental damage% it depends on ur factor of more.

These are examples of factors of more, the % more damage shown is not 1:1 with ur scenario its the measurement of what u have and what youll go to
